I have read a number of posts about adding fruit to secondary and a few indicate they just put the fruit in the bucket than rack the beer over it. I plan to put my fruit in the bucket, but for easy of removing the fruit at bottling time I was planning to put the fruit in a mesh bag, any reasons why this would be a bad idea?
Nope that’s exactly how I add my fruit. Just remember to minimize splashing as much as possible.
