Accidental brewing

Anyone else have accidental brews turn out great. I was trying to brew a red lager that I ended up being to dark because of to much roasted malt. At first I wasn’t pleased thought it to toasty. But after lagering it longer its a very nice black lager. I bottled it off the keg and started giving it away. Then a few of the guys were asking for more and saying its a very good beer so I tried it again. Amazing what longer lagering can do . luckily I was able to save some for myself.

Well, thats kinda how I zero in a recipe, many times, not the style I was aiming fer… but I keep brewing that one style until I’m satisfied… Looks as tho yer friends told when it was good tho! Sneezles61
