Absorbing moisture, in a chest freezer

anyone know of a good compound I can place in my chest freezer to absorb moisture? i seem to recall something i can purchase at home depot but cant remember the name of it.
thanks!

DampRid.
Or you could get yourself a couple of Eva Dry dehumidifiers.

That reminds me, I need to change my Damprid out. Thanks!

+1 on the Eva Dry you only spend the money once.

+1 Eva Dry and only paying once

I was going to start a similar topic so hopefully All Grain won’t mind a follow up questions. Any suggestions on the best place in the freezer to put the dehumidifiers? Top? Bottom? Middle? I seem to see the most of the moisture coming from the top and pooling in the bottom.

Also, does anyone use a fan to circulate the air? I thought this might help as well.

The compressor hump works well for me. I do run a fan to circulate air.

Mine are on the hump as well I have 2.
