Well it’s been a little over 2 weeks since my 1st brew (Hefe Weissen), and I took a sample to test gravity. It reads 1.012 just like I was told to expect for this extract recipe. So far everything is going well. The best part was the taste test of the sample…wow…for a green beer it really brought back memories of sitting in the barracks back in Erlangen. I can’t wait to see how this beer tastes after some bottle conditioning and carbonation. I think I’m going to love this hobby!
