4 new varieties from Hüll

There are 4 new hop varieties released by the breeding program in Hüll. Hopsteiner describes them here

. They all look interesting, but the one that sticks out to me is Polaris, at 19-23%AA (!!!) and 4.1-4.4 ml oil / 100g (!!!). I’m not sure when we’ll start seeing them available to homebrewers.

OOh, Hallertau Blanc looks like it could be an excellent proxy for Citra.

All you’d have to do with that one is wave an ounce in the general direction of the boiling wort. :slight_smile:
