2.5 ga kegs

what is your fav source for good price 2.5 corny kegs??

I bought six of mine from Craigslist and they were 3 gallons. Got them in a $1000 lot of homebrew stuff, then sold what I didn’t want and kept the kegs and made $600 after getting my money back.

I honestly don’t remember where I got mine, but I do remember that I spent nearly as much for it as I did my five gallon kegs. Unless you have space constraints that require the use of a smaller keg, I recommend just buying five gallon kegs.

Oh, man, Farmhouse Brewing Supply has $68 3 gallon kegs right now. Better get on it. That deal is the best I’ve ever seen. I really want to get a couple but really shouldn’t spend the money right now.

Used pin locks for $39 at adventures in home brewing. Don’t use it much but nice to push some beer into when I need some beer for a party. Fit nice in a bucket and some ice.

pin locks with loose handles for 29.99

I just bought a set of these and I am very pleased. I’m new to kegging and they were very helpful and answered all my questions. I received the kegs yesterday and they are in great shape. I bought the optional lids and ball lock posts. They send me a new set of the pegs complete with o-rings and the lids are brand new with o-rings. Very happy with the purchase.

I see that 1.75 ga. mini keg on Northern Brewer. That would be PERFECT…
do you think they will have it on sale later??? I would pay 100 for it if I could get discount on shipping…
it comes with regulator…

I think William’s Brewing Supply has these little guys too for $90. They’re in California though, so not sure about shipping there. $10 isn’t that big of a deal.

I was thinking brand new kegs with my earlier post. Farmhouse’s deal is still really stellar…I keep wanting to get a couple 3 gallon kegs, but really shouldn’t spend the money right now. I’ve got an itch to brew smaller batches and while I have before, I don’t really want to put 3 gallons in a 5 gallon keg. It works fine, but I just don’t like doing it. I want the keg to be full.

I think everyone should have at least one. I have a permenant shelf in my lagering chamber that won’t fit a five but fits two 2.5 so I’m going to get another soon.

I like to keep a few of the 3 gallon kegs because they fit on the compressor hump in my chest freezer.
