NB Hop giveaway!

by mashweasel » Wed Apr 30, 2008 4:16 pm

Guys,

Ive been working with NB for a while now on developing a new hop product. I've done plenty of experimentation with it with great results. Due to the hop shortage we thought that we would give something back to our customers so I am going to open it up to you guys. Its very simple. We will ship about 100 of you this product and all we ask are very few things...as follows:

1. Use it all in one beer (5 gal batch) for the bittering addition (~50IBU)
2. Give your feedback - Ill post a very short list of questions after its been sent that you all can post right back here on the forum so everyone can read.

Thats it, very simple!

Go here and sign up. You have until Sunday, May 11th.

Good Luck!

PS - No, I'm not telling you what it actually is yet! ;)

PPS - FYI - Entering more than once will not increase your chances of winning.

Sounds interesting. I just signed up. I just hope it isn't tetra-hop extract or something...

Concentrated GOAT BILE???

Can't wait to try it!

edit: have you considered doing a side-by-side comparison of your product vs. a standard hop addition?

Absolutely! Do whatever you want to the rest of the beer. Although this stuff does have plenty of aroma and flavor, I really want to see how it works in the most important hop trait. Perception of bitterness!

I'm in also. I never turn anything free down!

Just one thought and are you considering hand picking a few people to try it that have a good tasting ability. I think this could help support the findings that are provided by the random group. They may be best to pick out any differences that your product may impart to the beer if any.
