Oktoberfest water profile

This is what I've figured for my water profile for an Oktoberfest. I think I'm starting to figure this out. Double check for me, please? I'm starting my water now...

SRM 9

Ca.............90
Mg.............10
Na.............11
Cl..............68
SO4...........57
CaCO3.........66

Gives me RA of -7, Cl:SO4 of 1.2

Comments?

Thanks, Blatz. I really hate to be the whiny "Double-check-my-work" guy, but I'm really working at understanding water. That one I did all by my lonesome, and really wanted to know where I stood. Thanks...starting boil!

Re: Oktoberfest water profile

Turned out great! I didn't notice any water/mineral off flavors, and plan on brewing the same thing next week.

Re: Oktoberfest water profile

Cool !
Curious on HOW you came up with that water profile for an Oktoberfest ?
Palmer's spreadsheet suggests a RA of ~60-120 for an SRM of 11-12.
And with your Hardness at 66, I "thought" you want to balance that (somewhat) with the RA...
(the see-saw concept he always talks about...)
i.e. I would have thought you wanted an RA of ~60-70 !

No idea if I really know what I am talking about...
