Been catching up on episodes since discovering BTV a week ago. Couldnt help but notice the familia shirt on one of the episodes. You skateboard at all?

I can't answer directly for Jake.... while I have never seen him on a board, I know that Jake has some close homies in the skate industry and has been affiliated with good folks from both hip-hop and skate worlds.

I'm good friends with the Familia guys though, and as Chip said, I used to be involved in, and work within, the skate and hip-hop scene here in the Twin Cities. That seems like ages ago, but every now and then you may catch a glimpse of the past.

I used to do the artwork for the Atmosphere albums (Lucy Ford, God Loves Ugly, Seven's Travels, etc).
I also did merch and some other odd and ends jobs for them when they were coming up....I got to see a lot of good shows around the country and meet some great people.

back in day...good memories!

I've see Atmosphere a couple times in St. Louis, great shows every time. I'm also a Definitive Jux fan, I know that's not Minneapolis but there are some great artists on that label too.
