DC area CO2 refill?

where in the DC metro area do you get your CO2 fill/refill/exchange? don't have a keg setup yet, trying to line my ducks up. i got an airgas down the block, just curious if there's somewhere out there that people actually like.

Any welding supply shop. And while you're at it go do a little dance at the Jefferson Memorial.

I am in Maryland just above the DC line. Look around for Roberts Oxygen locations. I know of one in Rockville and one in Annapolis. Very simple, I got exchanges, not fills.

Check out a fire extinguisher shop. They seem to be less expensive around here.

They will fill your tank in about 5 minutes. It might be a bit of a drive for you depending on your location, though.

Re: DC area CO2 refill?

I use Laurel Bottled Gas and have been very happy with them. In addition to CO2, I also have been using them for propane refills and other supplies. They have oetiker clamps in stock, although not always in the sizes I want them. I also brought them a leaky gas regulator/connector I had and they took it in the back, tested it, crimped down one of the joints and took care of the problem--for free.

Good people.
