Beersmith. two computers, one code

I recently acquired a new laptop and tried to put Beersmith on it with my old registration code. It didn't work. It says two computers, one code... :blah: :blah: :blah:

Does anyone know how to get around this? I purchased the registration code and it seems reasonable to be able to use the code again. I'm not sharing it with anyone, or pirating (Yharrr!)

I wrote Beersmith support a note. No response yet. Just wondering if you guys have run into this.

I know it worked for me. I have it on my home desktop, my laptop, & my work computer. I dont know if it matters if their has been version updates since you registered, I saved the original downloaded program and installed from that version with my registration code on my computers.

I'm 99% sure the license says you can install on two computers simultaneously, but I bought at version 1.4 so maybe older versions aren't so flexible. I did install it on my new netbook I got a month ago, after having it on my desktop and old laptop. I uninstalled from the laptop first but it doesn't seem like it phones home to verify.
I've got a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel.

I'm using DropBox (https://www.dropbox.com/). If you install BeerSmith to the the Dropbox folder, it will be available on all the computers where you are syncing folders with Dropbox. I'm doing this with my 3 computers and it is working beautifully.

Also, you can move you current installation of BeerSmith to the Dropbox folders and your install code should still work. That is what I did....

Edit: Dropbox is free (in case you were wondering)

Well, I got it to work after reinstalling to a different directory. I imported my recipes to the new program and now none of the ingredients show up when I view the recipe. They are there in the preview, but you can't see them when you go to "edit" the recipe.
any ideas?

There was something about a corrupt file causing this. Here's a link:

It most likely connects to the developer and blocks the application as the computer is different from that for which it was originally registered. I'd just block the program's access to the net and see if that works.

No, as said by a couple of other posters, I've got it installed on a laptop and desk pc. BrewingRover has the answer.
