White chunks in fermenter

Are the white chunks floating in my beer protein flocculates?? There is still a bubble every 60-75 seconds, but I am wondering what the 'floaties' are... The active fermentation really stunk, but the smell has mellowed out dramatically over the past 2 days. It still has me thinking, however, that the white stuff is an infection.

The white chunks are the remaining yeast colonies that have been blessed with hard livers. Unlike other yeast in your fermenter, these will keep partying after 2:00am.

Nothing to worry about bro 8) .
