Tonorow brew session a kriek lambic. Got my grains only got to mill them. This time will let the kriek stand. 6 to 8 months. See how this comes out. The first kriek. I did came out nice let it stand for 6 months. Nice taste

Not surprised many brewers leave the kriek in the barrel for 12 months minimum

Standard process for my fruit lambics is 18 months in the barrel, adding fresh fruit after the first six months. I’m way behind schedule bottling my last batch with blueberries. Can be a problem with long aging; you kind of forget they are there…

I have a four year old kriek I almost forgot about (well, I guess I did forget about it). I’ll be tasting and hopefully kegging that this weekend.
