I’m contemplating doing an experiment for storing yeast… I’ve been using very hoppy brews to put a nice cap on my top cropped yeast… I wonder if I could just boil water and hops… and use that in lieu of the brew… Anyone care to weigh in? Sneezles61
Yeast is happiest right before you yank it from its family. Everything that you do that removes it from the environment it was raised in leaves it longing for an era where it ran unhindered by seat belts , nobody gave a thought to VDs and fermentable beverages were a nickel.
