Thermowell for 6.5 gallon NB bucket?

Is there a thermowell and stopper/grommet that will work with the 6.5 gallon buckets? I want to use temperature control but haven’t found anything that would fit this lid. Would I have to just DIY it?

Also, I find my fermenter gets about 5*F above its surrounding environment, once fermenting is under way…

There is debate whether a thermowell is better for temperature measurement or just taping the probe to the side of the fermenter and insulating it is better. I tape mine to the side and use a temp controller and heater mat that controls the temps.

You should be able to DIY something to suit your needs whichever way you choose to go.
