Has anyone used the LaMotte water testing kit to test there own water? I need a little help because a couple of the tests, alkalinity and sulphates yeilded no results.
To answer your question, no I have not used that. I called the city where I live (Fairfield) and asked them for a full water report. They just emailed me the info. You may have to be specific on which info you need, but a full report will do it. It was exactly what I needed
I use EZWATERCALCULATOR.COM and download the pdf to my computer. Self populates and self calculates as you adjust. In the book how to brew there is a section in there that details the ranges you should shoot for in your water chemistry
