Summer classics

After 7 years or so of brewing I usually start brewing my summer go to beer now. The lagers seem to age so well, and by May/June they are outstanding. My question is about a wheat beer like Apricot wheat or the Lemon shandy. How will they age? When should they be brewed to be excellent by July? Thoughts?

Generally wheat beers are quick turnaround beers. I would brew them in late May or early June to be ready in July.
