after beer is force carbonated in a soda keg setup can you disconect the co2 tank and take the keg somewhere or do you need lug the co2 tank around to maintain carbonation?
You can disconnect the keg for travel. But when you go to dispense, you will need the CO2 tank. You can dispense a few pints with the CO2 in the keg. But it will soon slow and then stop pouring.
Easiest way to travel is to get a 2nd regulator and a small paintball tank.
