Spunding valve was worth the investment

Last summer I kegged 20 gallons of my annual American wheat and primed a 10 gallon keg. After spending the winter doing its thing I attached my spunding valve and sure enough it was over carbed. So set at 12lbs or so, the graduations not precise, it let off the pressure to “fix” the over carbonation.

Yes a wheat should have been consumed fresh but with the pandemic going on there weren’t enough helpers to drink it up so it sat. It’s in the kegorator and should be cold so we will see how it came out later today I think.

I have had wheat beers that I tried very hard not to clear that came out crystal clear. Go figure. I should know later. Having coffee now.

I’ve not focused on a wheat brew… My lagers series are about done… I see I have Belle Saison yeast… Downstairs stays in the upper 60’s… This might be a perfect time to brew one… or some…
I’ll need more ideas…
