Safe ale 04

I usually ferment about mid 60 for the 04. I over pitched my slurry to a sour porter on purpose. I’m going to ferment it in the low 70s. Any opinions?

Should do no harm. The low pH will suppress the formation of esters so it should be pretty clean still. And the increased fermentation temperature should help it ferment out quickly.

Use a blow of hose…

It’s a 3 gallon batch fermenting in my 8 gallon kettle so I’m not worried about that. It took about 30hrs to start percolating. Might be the low pH . I noticed this yeast taking time to start. I’m dumping it after this I have a new yeast series now.
