Repitch US 05

Well I’m cold crashing my summer ale. The 05 blew through it at 65° in 10 days. I don’t understand how it went to .009 I mashed like around 158°. This was some slurry from early May

Dry is good for a summer ale. Your process must be efficient.

I did add some corn sugar.

Was going to say you had your pH aligned… good conversion and plenty FAN in the wort for yeast health.

This is the first time I made this using the corn sugar. The flat sample tastes very promising. The lower FG puts it at 6% I was targeting 5.5%. No big deal really except that I missed the mark. I figured mashing higher would offset the corn sugar.
