Question about use of flaked coconut in a Coconut Cream Ale

I am thinking about making a 2.5 gallon, 5% ABV, Coconut Cream Ale with Sparkling Amber DME and CaraFoam malt. I am planning on using Bob’s Red Mill Flaked Coconut (unsweetened, unsulfured). How many ounces of the flaked coconut would you recommend that I use to create a coconut flavor? Which hops would you recommend that I use for bittering and aroma? I am a newbie home brewer and am open to any suggestions. Many thanks to anyone who responds to this posting.

Earlier today I bought some large flake coconut to add to a cider that I’m brewing. I’ve also brewed a coconut wheat beer in the past.
Coconut is rather mild and you will need quite a bit. I bought 1 1/4 pounds to go into two gallons of cider and I’m not sure if that will be enough.
Go light on the hops, something noble and/or flowery…

And NO aroma hops.
