Priming with more apple juice?

Can I prime my cider with some of the same apple juice I used? If so how do I firgure out how much I need to add to carb to a specific level compared to dextrose. I think the OG of the Motts juice was 1.058-1.060. It is similar to using dme as far as using the gravity points to calculate?

Look at the label. Should list sugars in grams per volume. Or maybe just carbs, but for an apple juice, carbs= sugars. Should be able to do the math from that. I did it once a few years ago when I was using POM to prime. And believe me, if I can do the math, so can you.

After your cider is ready to drink, you might try this with one glass. Combine 8 oz of cider and maybe 2 oz of fresh apple juice. We love it!
