primary fermentation

Hello all im need some help before i pull my hair out. I brewed the NB caribou slobber AG. It has been in the primary for 8 days and the airlock has slowed way down but their is still a heave amount of krausen on top. Will this drop to the bottom? And is it ok to leave in the primary for 3 or so weeks if i plan on racking to a secondary? thanks guys

The krausen drops at different rates for each strain of yeast. Some are real slow and seem to never drop. You can gently swirl the fermenter to help it drop or, if you are going to secondary you can rack under it. Three weeks in primary is fine and may be long enough for it to fall.

thanks man i need all the help i can get
