It’s all I use now, and will never go back to standard neck fermentors. I have the universal lid, but I flipped the seal for a tighter fit. It hasn’t failed me yet.
Thank you all for your feedback. I ordered a 6 gallon Fermonster. It sounds like I will want to lubricate the seal with a non swelling lubricant before I use it, and be careful not to over tighten. I like the idea of the punted bottom, as I will be dry hopping this next batch. Thanks again!
