First time I have heard of that problem. Yup, one for the books. If the tubing is food grade, I wouldn’t worry about it at all. After the keg is empty you can just reach in and unwind it.
Might want to cut a piece that just reaches the bottom of the keg from your racking cane or valve so it can’t do that again.
StarSan does make vinyl tubing feel weird but I have not noticed any problems with it. I don’t leave it in for longs periods though.
