Well I had a chance to play a '64 start about a month ago. Very cool vibe, but I noticed the body was crazed checking on the finish and the neck was pretty new looking… So, just being simple, that era guitar is about 18,000 bucks!! I was cool with it, can’t afford it too. Well, the owner called me to come over and remove the neck to see whats up today… Its a '63 stamp, we removed the pickup guard too! Somebody horribly carved out more of the body! Butchered it! I told him if he can get 1500. for to sell it… Too much of it pieced together, 2 pickups right, guard is wrong… I was just saddened to know I didn’t play that high a priced guitar… So my tie to brews… I will need to drink a few extra to get over it… Sneezles61
