Midwest (Chicago) Homebrewing Contest - Coffee Theme

I reached out on here last month giving you guys a heads up on our first homebrewing contest whose theme was Winter Warmer. We’ve selected our top beer (actually top two because we loved two almost the same) so we’ve started designing labels and the wheels are in motion and we hope to have it on shelves within the next few months. But while that’s going on we are also starting our second contest around the theme of Coffee. We’re looking for creativity so hopefully we’ll get some Coffee IPA’s or Coffee Kolsh’s besides a Coffee Stout. (coffee barrel aged or coffee wild yeasts wont be accepted though)

Submissions are due March 30 and April 6, 2013. The contest will be judged by BJCP judges and our friends in the craft beer and beer blogging community. You can register and read the official Rules and Regulations, Entry Information and Bottle ID Forms for the contest at our eventbrite page (http://middlebrowcoffee.eventbrite.com/). We ask that you register by March 16’th so we can line-up the right amount of judges. And please feel free to visit our facebook page for more information about our company, and feel free also to throw us a “like,” if you’re so inclined. (http://www.facebook.com/middlebrow)

I know some of you guys aren’t close to Chicago but shipping is an option. If you register, just email us or PM me and I can provide an address to ship too. The guy that came in second (whose beer we’re still brewing) during our first contest shipped from a suburb a 100 miles out.
