However in starters you want/need all the oxygen you can get because you want the yeast to be in the “replication phase” (making more yeast cells)… When they run low or out of oxygen they switch to anaerobic mode and start producing alcohol…that’s why you use a sponge stopper or a piece of foil to let oxygen in/CO2 out of your starter…

Found them on Amazon. Little pricey
