Here are my tips.

  1. Sparge for as long as you can at least an hour. A slow trickle.
  2. Try a 90 minute mash
  3. Consider using a pump and circulating your mash
  4. Check your efficiency with some iodine before you proceed to the sparge stage to ensure you have converted all starches.
