Filled my 3G keg with barleywine this afternoon…it was maybe a little bit full. After I pressurized it I noticed that if I tilt it to either side beer came out from the posts…almost “under” the posts…orings are all lubed…and posts are tight…any ideas?
My first guess (based on my experience) is that the o-ring under the flair on your dip tube may be cut from excessive tightening.
It’s a great way to drain a newly-filled CO2 tank in a hurry. Because the flare of both liquid and gas dip tubes are above the level of the beer, CO2 can leak out of either, or both, liquid and CO2 posts without pushing out beer, until the keg is tilted.
I’ll snag some extras this week…I just ratchet until tight…there doesn’t seem to be any going farther option. I would describe it as limp wrist hand tight

Limp is not a good word… that being said… Don’t need to give all the threads stuff the he-man crank it till it breaks or strips the threads kinda deal… Be kind and give a firm handshake… Sneezles61
