Had to pick a few weeks early due to my schedule.
Still need to pick the Columbus (not much).
Will use for dry hopping only.

Looks like I solved the powdery mildew problem this year with the Neem Oil and Baking Soda solution sprayed weekly.
I would like to still increase the harvest yield somehow.

I was told to cut off the bull shoots when they first grow which I did.
Still hops only grew near the tops.
Watered daily on timers (pampered… lol).
I did not fertilize (newer garden soil) but probably should have.

Need to research a bit more.

I may dump the Willamette in favor of Centennial.
Columbus seems to struggle as well.

I may just focus on Dry Hop Hops.
Cascade, Centennial and Chinook.

If you want to… use the hops you have as bittering too… You’ll figure it out… The hops look great! I would love to imbibe in a brew with you in that bine shade! Sneezles61

Harvested 2 lbs this year.
Cascade is an animal.

Mine did well when I had them… Willamette just faded away… Goldings, well, that seemed to be the fav for the deer! Sneezles61

Used 2.5 Oz Whole Leaf Willamette from my 2017 yield in an Imperial Stout on Saturday. Actually I think it was your (Sneezles61) Imperial Stout recipe.

60 % 2 row
25% Brown Malt
12 % Amber Malt
3 % Black Malt
Mash at 160F (Chewy and Sweet as you put it…)
Boil 90 min
