Bu’n Water is a good place to start with water treatment. There is a free download of the previous version. So far that is what I’m using. Seemed technical at first until I entered my water data and then selected different profiles, with the same mash ingredients, to see what changed. Changing mash and sparge volumes minimized additions to get the right mash pH with the ingredients of the recipe.

I think it may be easier to understand beginning with distilled water. Lot of water information included in the spreadsheets.
