Favorite Belgian yeast

OK, that’s more like what I was thinking. I was a bit surprised that White had the range that low, but i don’t really know their criteria for the definition of “optimum fermentation temp”.

I have yet to get bubblegum from anything. I have used the Ardennes and while it had character I too was underwhelmed. I’ve also used the Lallemand Abbaye and it was just fine as well. Honestly I prefer all the wheat strains banana and clove but they are best consumed young, which I can do.

Gee whiz… This stuff just showed up… Either I have a very slow link to… stuff or…
It sure seems that with yeast throwing out some of their notable flavors… warmer is the key…
cold… all flavors are subdued… Although I like cleaner flavored brews… Some Heffe’s with all those brilliant characteristics, are good for that brew… I will quaff some! Sneezles61
