I’ve done a couple of these but this one turned out the best. I had this small length of pine and I found a place online that will make you wooden or MDF letters in various sizes and fonts. I painted the plank and letters and then sanded them and banged them up a little bit with a saw and a pry bar to “weather” them a little bit.

There are places all over the web to pick the letters up and they often have them at hobby places, craft places, Michael’s and JoAnn Fabrics (not sure if those places are nationwide). The onine place I used is HERE
