Bottled today tased a little and it’s kinda on the sour side. My wife said tastes like cranberry. I’m not so sure furmented at 68* for the time needed I’m hoping it will beer up soom wile it sits. Anyone else Brew this how did it turn out?
Lets be simple… Have you ever tasted a sweet cranberry? I sure haven’t… Then, even add a sweet tasting fruit to a home brew… SHAZAAM… The yeast eats up the sugar… leaving the tartness a fruit has to offer… sorry… Sneezles61
Wouldn’t say disappointment. Just a little more sour than expected. Will see in a few weeks

That may be more like it.
As @Rburrelli said you’re likely tasting tartness. Cranberries are tart already plus any sugar fermented out leaving more tartness.
I once made a berry cider that used raspberries blueberries and blackberries. That was several years ago and I still have some as it’s just too tart. Doesn’t seem to age out.
