Cranberry addition to a malty braggot?

Hi, This is a first attempt making a braggot. I made it the same day we made a NB Oktoberfest. The Oktoberfest hit the OG right on the mark I was considering stealing some of the wort for a braggot which was once done by a forum member but I did not. Instead I made a wort of 1 gallon spring water, 2 lb raw honey, 1/2 lb of barvarian wheat dme , and a 1l of speciatly grains( simpsons xtra dark crystal malt) and I rinsed out the 6 lb jug that contained malt liqiud extract for the oktokerfest with the hot braggot wort. The wort was very dark OG of 1.108. I added a ferm go starter of lavin71b -1122 and feeding w/ DAP and fermid K . When degassing the wine,it is so malty it takes a while to clear the bubbles…to much malt. This will be a sweet braggot. I thought of adding frozen cranberries (tart) I pick up last year to balance out the sweetness to the secondary after K Meta and K sorbate. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
