Building a hop rocket

I have a bunch of 2" copper pipe and can get fittings for it. I am thinking of cutting off a piece to accommodate 2 OZ. of cone hops, one end I would sweat on permanent, the other removable, both would have the ability to attach 1/2" hose. So, regular solder a problem for this? I could silver solder, but if this gizmo doesn’t work out that would be an expensive experiment. Sneezles61

Regular solder should be fine. Just make sure it is lead free.

Use MAPP gas for your sweat work, it’s hotter than propane. Lead free solder requires more heat as does large diameter copper tubing.
