for some odd reason smilies don’t seem to be working (for me anyway). They used to work just fine. I haven’t intentionally changed anything that I can remember – and I’ve checked the display options and everything shows as being ‘on’ (except for flash=off).
Could this have something to do with it? As far as I can tell, there’s no way for me to change that one.

What browser are you using and what board style? I am using Mozilla Firefox and in control panel > board preferences have it set to ProSilver, what the board used to look like.
Not sure if that will help but it is a place to start.
