So just purchased 3 plastic BMB’s and quickly found out the the rubber gasket pushes the lid off, especially when soaked in sanitizer. I did conjure up a remedy with the BMB’s carrying harness though. Works good so far we’ll see how the fermentation goes, just sucks you have to reengineer something that should be solved by now with so many complaints across the web about this lid.

Ya I agree. I think I will move to the same brew tech stainless fermentor next. I do like being able to see what is going on but I guess I will get over that.
They should make it a screw on lid but I suppose nobody wants to pay the cost of changing the tool used in the blow mold or whatever is used.

Just turn the silicone gasket upside down stays put just fine.
