Today is a brew day. I am doing NB brown ale. I add 2# of 6 row and 2 other hops. I am going to use a bag today. Can I use a screen in the mash tub?
I use a screen in the bottom of my kettle, a false bottom, when I BIAB. If this is what you mean then go ahead as long as there is nothing that will tear your bag.
I did use a screen in the bottom.
