Hello I just purchased beersmith Mobile. An I trying to add my equipment profile which is a 10gal round igloo cooler an a 10gal brew pot an I brew 5gal batch’s. An also when I was looking at beersmith mobile equipment profile I seen something call mash tun weight what is that?
It’s there on mine… from the main menu, choose “Profiles,” then “Equipment.” Towards the bottom, there’s “Pot and Cooler (10 Gal) All Grain.” You can then go in there and edit details, like standard efficiency, etc. The weight is the weight of your cooler… I believe it uses that as a specific heat value, to calculate strike water target temperature.
