Apple skins mead

Since we are talking mead and cider here is what I’m thinking. Use the skins left over from making apple cider. Add honey and spices. Spiced apple mead. What spices do you all like?

Cinnamon and cloves?

I’m going to look at mulling spice. Not sure what they use

Finally got around to drinking this. Its very nice. I had to chill the bottle and decant. Came out clear eventually

I also did a spice orange mead but dumped the bottle i opened that one probably needs to age more but it may never improve. Its tart from the citrus
