I made a single hop IIPA with Apollo, not really that happy with the result. At first the hop was bright and citrusy but as the keg has aged (5 weeks) it has turned resiny and acrid. Didn’t really seem to have great aroma effect as a dryhop. Would consider using it for late additions in future brews but would not dryhop, keg hop or bitter with it again.

Anyone else have experience with this one?

I used Apollo in a dry hop along with Columbus. 50:50 I think.

I get more “onion”.

I REALLY like the smell of Apollo and will probably try a DH again only with a much larger mix ratio. At least 2:1. Very well could be with Columbus again being I have a bunch.
