another secondary question

I moved my chinook IPA to a secondary this past sunday. Out of habit, I wrapped the bucket in a blanket and put it back in the where I put the fermenter.

Should I move that to a cool envirnment or leave as is? I plan to bottle this coming saturday.

As an FYI…I live in Maine and my basement is in the 50’s, upstairs generally mid 60’s.

This is the first time I’ve moved to a secondary and I did dry hop the beer at that time.

Thanks all!

Just FYI, you could have skipped the secondary and just dryhopped in the primary, saved yourself a transfer and a cleaning/sanitation run.

Yes, Thanks! That part I knew!

I had planned to brew another batch same day and only have the one fermenter, and I also wanted to harvest the yeast. I did get the yeast, but did not get the batch brewed.
