6 Gallon Carboy?

I’m in the process of fermenting a Wine Expert Cabernet. I need to move it to secondary next weekend for stabilization and clarification… Instructions say I need a 6 gallon carboy, but I only have 6.5 gallons… It will need to be in there for another 20 days or so… can I use the 6.5? or do i need to buy, yet another, carboy? my first wine… sorry for the knewb question…

You could top it off with some wine or even some grape juice I would imagine. You want it into the neck of the carboy

I undestand O2 is not wanted… yet, the yeast will be giving off some CO2, I think you’ll be ok… don’t splash while racking… Sneezles61
